Many people think once they have sent a connection, the business will magically come to them. But, that couldn’t be farther from the truth.
Just like any other sales prospect, your connections need to be nurtured.
After they connect with you, send them a message and try to get to know them. NEVER try to sell to them this early in the process. We can guarantee you won’t be getting a reply if you do.
Instead, introduce yourself and thank them for connecting with you. Be yourself and show your personality.

It’s important to be transparent and build an authentic relationship before talking business.
Start by messaging 2 people in your network that match your ideal customer a day.
3. Provide value
Sales is about showing your prospective clients how your product or service can improve their everyday lives.
Luckily, LinkedIn makes it easy for you to get your message right in front of your target audience.
Through engaging posts, polls, videos, and articles, you can provide immense value to your network.
When you are active on LinkedIn, you’re more likely to show up on people’s feeds.
The more you show up on people’s feeds, the more exposure you will get. Which in turn helps increase your brand awareness and positions you as an authority in your industry.
Are you more likely to trust someone with no activity on LinkedIn or someone who has multiple articles and posts about how they solve problems in their industry?
